Autumn 1888…Victorian London…Whitechapel…sharp knives…ripped women… We all know the story of Jack the Ripper. No one knows who he was but we have all heard of him and we all know what he did.
For those of us who are willing to look past the sensational, however, a few iconic and poignant images stand out starkly against the Victorian haze. Who could forget the upstanding and well-loved Catherine Eddowes singing softly to herself in her cell at Bishopsgate…

Offline"The Autobiography of Jack the Ripper" by James Carnac is an original 1920's manuscript, which was recently found at Montacute TV Radio Toy Musuem.
The book introduces a new suspect for the role of Jack the Ripper – in his own words.
Based on the bare-bones account by someone who was there, was at least a witness to the scenes of the murders and, without wishing to be over dramatic, who was potentially the perpetrator of the Jack the Ripper murders… This is without question a text that will be the subject of considerable interest and will no doubt be debated for years to come.
It is to be released on the 19th January 2012.
You can pre-order a copy from Amazon, Waterstones, WH Smith, amongst others.![]()
